KTM Philippines top bills the 12th Inside Racing Bike Festival with a trio of newsmakers.
At this year's iteration of the popular trade show being held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from March 23 to 25, KTM Philippines announced: (1) their partnership with Ibero Asistencia (Ibero), global pioneer in emergency roadside and travel assistance; (2) their new 790 Duke top-tier roadracer; and, (3) their Zero2Podium motorcycle riding clinic to be held at the Clark International Speedway up north and at the Batangas Racing Circuit down south.
Ibero Asistencia roadside assistance
They've partnered up with Ibero to offer owners of their street-legal KTM models 24/7 emergency roadside assistance across the country. At an introductory price of P999, KTM riders who have enrolled a month in advance can be assisted by an Ibero coordinator to arrange ambulance services, hospital admission and accident coordination with government units in the event of any touring ride mishap. Through their round-the-clock call center hotline, Ibero can be called on to respond to emergencies in 86 areas in Luzon, 17 in the Visayas, and 7 in Mindanao.
KTM chief operating officer Dino Santos says, "the two-wheeler industry is emerging and we want to be exceptional in terms of quality and on how we can give the best after-sales services to our clients. We assure them with our ready-to-race DNA of KTM motorcycles as we partnered for world-class customer service through Ibero Asistencia."
New 790 Duke
KTM rolled out the 790 Duke, offering it at an eponymous P790k sticker price. The make's ready-to-race DNA finds straightforward expression in this latest addition to the KTM Duke line, its naked design not obscuring the premium it puts on sporty agility and performance.
On the 790 Duke, the rider straddles the all-new, ultra-compact LC8c parallel twin engine that delivers peak power of 105hp at 9000rpm and peak torque of 87Nm at 8000rpm.
Zero2Podium clinic free to KTM buyers
Offered for free to anyone who will purchase KTM's 200 Duke, 390 Duke, RC200 or RC390 during the three-day Inside Racing Bike Festival which starts today, the Zero2Podium motorcycle riding clinic puts participants under the instruction of Joey Rivero, veteran road and dirt bike rider and former PSBK superbike factor racer.
At classes held at the Clark International Speedway north of Manila and at the Batangas Racing Circuit down south, riding clinic participants will learn motorcycle dynamics and the factors that affect these, and will train in various riding concepts and techniques.
