Major business firms from Scandinavian countries gathered to discuss economic development
Volvo Philippines recently hosted this year’s second assembly of Swedish companies in the country. Volvo’s Makati showroom turned into a breakfast venue for the guests before heading out to the first meeting outside Swedish Embassy.
The Embassy of Sweden gathered the business leaders to discuss and exchange ideas on economic and business development in the country. The Scandinavian conglomerates who are members of this group convene periodically to share insights and learning that will help bolster good business relations in the Philippines.
This gathering is also aligned with the Embassy’s vision to enhance interpersonal relationships between the two countries as well as introduce Sweden as a modern and innovative country that values sustainable development.
Among the Swedish companies who joined the assembly are Astra Zeneca, Atlas Copco, Ericsson Telecommunications Inc., IKEA, SAAB, SKF, Swedish Crewing Management, Swedish Match Philippines, Business Sweden, Philippine-Swedish Business Council, Polarmarine, Retail Software Associates Corporation, Volvo Buses Philippines and Volvo Cars Philippines.
