2019 Subaru Outback with Eyesight Tech unveiled at MIAS

Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, has introduced the new Outback, which is now equipped with Subaru Eyesight Driver Assist Technology, at the 2018 Manila International Auto Show.

As the newest addition to Subaru’s technology, the Eyesight Technology is packed with safety features. It has stereo cameras to identify the surrounding vehicles. obstacles, traffic lanes, and other items. When a driver is about to hit an obstruction, the Eyesight will apply brakes to reduce the throttle to minimize the risk of collision.

This advanced system provides extra awareness, safety, and added confidence every time drivers step behind the wheel.
The six main functions of Eyesight are pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision throttle management, lane departure warning, lane sway warning, and lead vehicle start alert.
The 2019 Subaru Outback still have the brand’s existing core technologies such as the boxer engine that boasts of a low center of gravity that helps create more balanced handling, flatter cornering, and greater stability on every type of road; the symmetrical all-wheel drive that provides precise steering response in corners and stability in high speeds; and the Subaru
Global Platform — the brand’s vehicle architecture that elevates the overall performance and safety of all its models.
