Nissan Motor reveals 3 GT concepts for 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon

Nissan Motor presents Grand Touring theme in Leaf, X-Trail, NV 350

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., its associate Co. Autotech, and Nissan Motor Sports International Co., Ltd. recently revealed their new models, including three concept cars, which will be displayed at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon on January 12.

Presenting the theme of “Grand Touring,” Nissan will show the customized Leaf, NV350 Caravan, the concept model of the X-Trail, the Fairlady Z Heritage Edition, Nismo concepts, an Autech concept model that will be launched as a new premium sporty brand, and the GT 500 Motul Autech GT-R racing car.

After its worldwide debut, Nissan presents the Grand Touring concept of the Leaf (which will be called as Nissan Reef). The Leaf’s exterior is in a two-tone Black and Matte Silver finish, has a low and wide styling with over fenders and larger wheels. Nissan didn’t give any details on how the Leaf’s interior would look like, but the Japanese automotive company that the car’s interior will have black accents.

Nissan has put the Grand Touring essence to the NV 350 Caravan, the NV 350 Urvan Premium in PH and a public transport vehicle locally. The van’s exterior has an attached protector in front and rear, over fender and body graphic, enabling it to handle both on-road and off-road. The interior produces a space surrounded by an adequate storage and commitment gear like the one that moved the favorite garage as it is in the car. Tailored to a car for professionals who do not compromise on location and do not compromise on hobbies.

Meanwhile, the Nissan X-Trail focuses on customers who want to enjoy the real pleasure of outdoor sports. Its exterior has a body graphic bold gradation based on its Corona Orange paint. Interior directs the car’s stylish nature by adding accent to monotone, tailored to individuals who are into outdoor activities.

The Fairlady Z enjoyed the pleasures of running in every scene, including the world’s top running performance since 1969’s first S30 model. This vehicle is a reference exhibition car based on the model released in the United States last year. In the exterior, black graphics are given to various parts of the mirror and the body, and the interior incorporates accent of yellow everywhere.

As a celebration of second straight win in GT 500 class of Super GT 2017, Nissan will also display the the GT 500 Motul Autech GT-R at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon. The company achieved five wins out of eight ways, showing its speed and strength.
