The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) announced today that it has been appointed as the official distributor of the MG brand in the Philippines. A total of six new MG models are set to be released for the 2019 lineup, together with the establishment of 16 independent MG Dealer Partners across the country.

“The Covenant Car Company is optimistic that Filipinos will positively respond to MG’s new global products. It is honored to be the official distributor of MG in the Philippines, and is very excited to provide the market with new options, with an aggressive model lineup and favorable offers, as it acknowledges the market’s discerning preferences,” stated Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla, President and Managing Director of The Covenant Car Company, Inc. “I am sure future MG customers will appreciate the modern features and benefits of these cars, and many will be pleasantly surprised by the numerous perks these MG models have to offer.”

Financially and technically backed by SAIC Motor, MG Philippines is confident to take on the stage. SAIC Motor is China’s largest auto manufacturer and exporter, and a top-ranked Fortune 500 company.

The British automobile brand has experienced a renaissance as it aims to establish positions in new markets like the Philippines.

By the end of 2019, a total of six MG vehicles across different segments will be unveiled in the local scene. These cars will be made available in the 16 independent dealerships – nine already confirmed – that will be set up. The confirmed dealerships will be fully operational by the first semester of 2019.

Locations for the dealerships are currently being evaluated. For now, MG owners will have access to aftersales services through independent MG Philippines-accredited service outlets that will be made available. Moreover, a “Mobile Garage” service caravan will be assembled by January 2019. It will offer preventive service maintenance right at their customers’ garages.
