Lister Motor Company, a British specialist sports car maker, confirmed the upcoming launch of the ‘fastest SUV’ in the world, the Lister LFP. Although full details of the model are still hidden, key statistics on the LFP have been revealed.
Britain’ oldest racing car company at 65-years-old, Lister will produce an SUV with 670 horsepower, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 322 km/h. The highly modified Jaguar F-Pace is integrated with extensive carbon fiber modifications to help improve weight reduction and road holding.
The LFP is set for full release in the coming weeks and follows the success of the LFT-666 coupe launched earlier this year, which is becoming the fastest-selling model in the company’s history.
“I am delighted, overwhelmed and gratified by the huge level of interest, excitement and orders our LFT-666 supercar has already generated in just a few months. Based on early indications, our new LFP promises to repeat the success of the LFT-666, and I really can’t wait to reveal the world’s fastest SUV quite soon,” said Lawrence Whittaker, CEO of the Lister Motor Company.
He added that the company has been working on the development of its Tuning Division for the past six months, which started with modifications on the Jaguar F-Type, and the Lister LFT-666.
