Honda Cars PH holds turn-over ceremony of Civic Type R in Manila Bay dealership

First batch of Honda Civic Type R are now released to their owners

Christmas came early to seven Honda Type R enthusiasts, who can finally lay their hands on one of the most iconic models of the Japanese brand.

Last Monday (November 27), Honda Cars Philippines Inc. turned over 7 of the reserved 100 Honda Civic Type R units to their owners at Honda Cars Manila Bay. This was followed by a motorcade signifying that the owners can finally drive their very own Honda Civic Type R for the first time.

In line with this, HCPI is also delighted to announce that the all-new Honda Civic Type R can now be seen in select Honda showrooms particularly in Makati, Pasig, Alabang, Shaw Blvd., Bonifacio Global City, and Manila Bay.

The first batch of the official turnover and release of the all-new Honda Civic Type R for HCMI’s valued clients was a milestone celebrated at Honda Cars Manila Bay and was graced by HCPI President and General Manager Noriyuki Takakura, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Cars Makati, Inc. (HCMI) Arthur Tan, and HCMI’s President and Chief Operating Officer Manny Aligada.

After setting a record-breaking time of 7:43.8, the Honda Civic Type R became the fastest front-wheel drive car at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

It made its first appearance in the Philippineals at the 2017 Manila International Auto Show last March, when it stole the hearts of car enthusiasts.

Knowing it has a winner in its hands, HCPI accepted reservations for the Type R on July 11, 2017, with all the limited 100 units offered, reserved in just 48 hours, despite its steep price of Php 2.980 million.

Together with the whole Honda community, HCMI celebrates this milestone and this opportunity to provide the best quality products and services to its loyal and valued customers.
