LS2 Team Philippines, a recently formed online community led by Mr. Carlo Berol and various sponsors, meet for the first time in Moto Market in Libis, Quezon City to show their support and to strengthen road safety by using quality riding gear, especially helmets. The group, with about 3000 members all over the country, expressed their enthusiasm, product belief and experience with the popular LS2 helmet brand.
In return, MotoMarket, Motoworld and MotoStyle reciprocated by extension of support in after-sales, events and privileges. Mr. Jeff Alvarez, Motoworld head of Marketing, also recognized LS2 Team Philippines as the official brand community and safety advocates.
The company that created LS2 was founded by Mr. Arthur Liao back in 1990 in China and was marketed under the “FENGXING” trademark. After achieving success in their domestic market, Mr. Arthur Liao turned his vision to the global market. To be taken seriously in the global arena, they decided to change their trademark to “MHR” in 1997. In the year 2000 MHR gain ISO 9000 accreditation, allowing them to further improve their quality and expand their product lineup. As the business continue to grow, Arthur Liao and his brother Paul Liao invested millions of dollars to establish JIANGMEN PENGCHENG HELMETS, LTD. (JPH). JPH wholly owns a 330,000 sq. ft State of the art factory with over 1,000 employees, with a production capacity of more than 2 million helmets a year.
In 2007 they established the LS2 brand by using the abbreviation of Liao’s System. Their head office is located in Barcelona, Spain. In the Philippines, LS2 Helmets are distributed by M World Trading and can be purchased in Motoworld outlets, MotoMarket and accredited dealers.
