2018 BMW HP4 Race sportbike makes it’s US debut

The reveal took place at the 13th Annual Barber Vintage Festival

Classics met with the new as BMW Motorrad (USA) debuted the 2018 HP4 Race at this year’s Barber Vintage Festival. Worldwide, there will only be 750 units of the handmade, racetrack-only superbike.

The HP4 Race represents the most exclusive motorcycle ever offered by BMW. It sports a 215 hp engine, and the rarity of each unit is identified by way of sequentially numbered carbon badges on the milled fork bridge. It is also the first motorcycle in the world to offer a fully-carbon frame and fully-carbon wheels.

During the event, BMW Motorrad brought in a full lineup of its models, and also showcased its customizable Heritage family of motorcycles which included the R nineT, R nineT Scrambler, the R nineT Pure, the R nineT Racer, and the R nineT Urban G/S.
