Rivera clinches the top spot in the 2nd leg
Milo Rivera of Tough Gear Racing reaffirmed his status as slalom’s top gun as he bagged the overall best time of the day and the Production Rear Wheel best clocking in the second leg of the RACE Motorsports Club Slalom Series at Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga.
The defending champion Rivera was followed by his close rival Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Big Chill Racing.
Meanwhile, Jevoy Moreno of Auto Fastion won the Front Wheel best time, while the novice top clocking went to Reden Dizon of Team Comet.
Novice, clubman and car clubs also participated in the Slalom Two class, an event specifically created for drivers in the motorsports show Garahista, hosted by slalom champ Milo Rivera and radio jockey Joyce Pring, and aired every Thursday evening at ABS-CBN Sports + Action.
The 2017 RACE Motorsports Club National Slalom Series is presented by Phoenix Premium ’98 and Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil, with Federal Tyres, Outlast Battery, Robinson’s Starmills, and Robinson’s Malls as major sponsors. It is also supported by Starbright body Kits, Auto Transporter, Cars Unlimited Auto Sales Fairview, and Mark Young Cars.
