Honda’s “Joy In Motion” Presents The Type R, all-new Civic, all-new BR-V, HR-V Mugen, and Limited Ed City MIAS Edition
The long wait is over!
The Honda Civic Type R makes its way to PH shores
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has confirmed that they will unleash the much anticipated Honda Civic Type R at the 2017 Manila International Auto Show to be held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City from March 30 to April 2.
Fresh from its debut at the Geneva International Auto Show, the revealing of the Type R in MIAS will be in line with this year’s theme “Beyond Performance”, and Honda will portray “Joy In Motion” through displaying vehicles that will highlight the Japanese automaker’s striking sporty image.
The Civic Type R is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L i-VTEC in-line four-cylinder engine with DOHC, that produces peak ratings of 306 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 295 lb.-ft. of torque from 2,500 to 4,500 rpm.
Its interior has a 7-inch Display Audio Touchscreen interface that has both Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility. The hot hatch also features a 12-speaker audio system with SiriusXM 2.0, HD Radio and Pandora compatibility.
Type R’s bolstered sports seats are colored in red and black, and its steering wheel and shift boot are wrapped in leather.
Apart from the appearance of Honda Civic Type R, HCPI will also display its accessorized concept of the all-new Civic and all-new BR-V. Both are integrated with Modulo accessories that will revive Honda’s sporty DNA.
Gearheads and customers will also witness Honda’s advanced innovation at MIAS with the launch of the new HR-V Mugen variant enhanced with a bolder and more aesthetic appeal.
Lastly, those out in the market to find a new car may very well find it with the launch of the Limited MIAS Edition of the Honda City. With a line-up of exclusive features and a production run of only eight units, this is a catch, for sure.
Take note that those who will reserve Honda Vehicles at MIAS 2017 are in for exclusive offers and packages.
These are what Honda is bringing to the table this year. See you all there!
