Results are in for the PH Subaru Palm Challenge
After almost 11 hours of keeping their right palm on the 5 all-new Subaru XVs, the recently concluded 2017 Subaru Palm Challenge last September 9 has established 10 winners that will have a chance to win the all-new Subaru XV and will represent the Philippines for the Regional Palm Challenge Finals in Singapore this coming October 27 to November 1, 2017.
Throughout the day, the contestants were exposed to the harsh elements such as the scorching heat of the sun to heavy scattered rain showers. If there was one thing we learned from the winners of the country challenge of the 2016 Regional Palm Challenge, the Filipino spirit is resilient.
Alex Neblasca, perennial Philippine winner and last year’s runner up in the Regional Palm Challenge finals in Singapore, is once again part of the Philippines Top 10, but surprisingly just came in 3rd this time around. Rheden Pinoliad, a factory worker, and new Philippine champion Juntie Torres, who serves as a security guard for his day job, outlasted the multi-titled Neblasca.
