FIA, AAP, SMC conglomerates ink 2018 Sport Conference
Petron Corporation has confirmed it will be the official local fuel and oil sponsor of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Sport Conference 2018, to be held in Pasay City from June 4 to 6.
Hosted by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP), and supported by the Department of Tourism (DOTr), the FIA Sport Conference will bring together 245 national motoring and sporting organizations from 143 countries.
With the theme “Empowering the Future: Unlocking Motor Sport’s Potential,” the sport conference will be attended by 500 international delegates representing all motor sport disciplines. This event will also serve as an avenue to discuss key topics such as creating a motor sport culture in new market and how to attract an increasingly saturated young audience in a fast-changing world.
Leading figures in motorsports from Asia and worldwide, are expected to participate in the conference sessions. Also to be showcased will be the FIA Sport MotorEx, with an exhibition of companies and stakeholders of the global motor sport industry.
Last Feburary, FIA Sport Conference Project Director Trouve has turned over the hosting certificate to AAP President Gus Lagman to confirm the Philippines as the host of the 6th season of the sport conference.
