Rivera defends title in Round 4

Milo Rivera, the top racer of Tough Gear Racing Team extended his dominance as he bagged the overall and production best clocking in the fourth leg of the 2017 Phoenix National Slalom Series at Tarlac Circuit Hill.

The four-time slalom champion Rivera clinched the overall best time of 90.44, as he won his close battle with Mark Young Racing Team & Cars Unlimited’s Carlos Anton, who finished with a time of 90.72.

Rivera’s teammate/brother Estefano Rivera claimed third spot (90.74), with Iñigo Anton (92.26) and Jevoy Moreno of JAF Team (92.64) placing fourth and fifth, respectively.

However, Carlos Anton did not come home empty-handed as he brought home the Front Wheel best time with his 90.72 clocking, followed by Moreno with 92.64 and Pekto Pakutokot of Speedjav Racing Team with 93.48.

Iñigo Anton also bagged the novice best time, followed by Vegil Calayo of JAF Racing Team in second place (97.10), Powee Base of PMMS Racing Team at third (98.28) and Ranier Tinio of Cabanatuan Auto Club at fourth spot (99.42).

Meanwhile, novice, clubman and car clubs also participated in the Slalom Two class.

The 2017 RACE Motorsports Club National Slalom Series is presented by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil, with Federal Tyres and Outlast Battery as major sponsors. It is also supported by Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter, Cars Unlimited Auto Sales Fairview, and Mark Young Cars.
